I’m always a fan of nick-knacks for my workshop. Tapes, adhesives, epoxies, and clamps always peak my interest. So, when the Mighty FixIt came along, I was excited to give it a try. Basically, Mighty FixIt is electrical tape on steroids. It is stretch and heat resistant and does a great job patching holes (more about this later).

According to the manufacturer, Mighty FixIt is great for leaky pipe drains, repairing frayed appliance cords, damaged garden hoses, cracked vacuum hoses, emergency car radiator hose repairs, and broken sprinkler lines. They also claim it can be used on branches and vines, but that isn’t something I would ever do.

As is typical of such offers, if you order Mighty FixIt, your order will be tripled as you are sent six rolls of Mighty Fixit (60 feet). Every roll is guaranteed to get the job done and color coded (red, blue, yellow, black, green, and clear) so you can match your repair!

As for my experience, this was a pretty simple product to review. Mighty FixIt worked great for me. I used it for two different repairs; patching two power cords together and repairing a damaged garden hose. In both instances, it worked great. Also, when I was putting it on, I wanted to test whether or not it would leave a sticky residue (the manufacturer claims it won’t) so I cut it off after letting it sit for two hours. Both times, it came off clean.
